1st competition in 1951

The first 3 competitions (1951, 1954, 1956) were local. The event was first named "Premio Jaen" in 1956.

It became semi-international in 1958 (allowing foreign entries), and has been explicitly announced as international since 1960. No competition in 1969, 1986, and 1990.
